Commodore’s Artisan Contractor program was specifically designed for the small to medium sized contractor who takes the time to do the job right.

Program Guideline Highlights

• CA licensed artisan and general contractors
• New ventures with experience permitted
• Payroll based rating
• Maximum of 50% sub-contractor costs
• No more than $5,000,000 in gross receipts
• No more than 5 custom homes in any one-year
• “A” XVI Rated Carrier
• First 5 AI’s Included for no additional premium
• Primary Wording Included
• Waiver of Subrogation available for an additional charge

Policy Limits

• Up to $1,000,000 per Occurrence / $2,000,000 General Aggregate
• $2,000 deductible per Occurrence
• Minimum premium $1,000

Prohibited Work

• New Multi-unit construction / Tract work
• Pollution abatement, asbestos, lead, radon, or nuclear exposures
• Project specific & wrap-up coverage
• Shoring, moving or demolition
• Roofing (must be subbed out)
• Suspect Loss History
• New Foundation work (room additions okay)
